The book «Igor Sikorsky. Kyiv takeoff»
Today, when the name of Igor Sikorsky, a prominent Kyivan, aircraft designer, and philosopher, is familiar to many Ukrainians, the author invites the reader into the personal universe of this extraordinary man. The book tells the story of three periods of Sikorsky's life. We have every reason to be proud of him, because the roots of the Sikorsky family are in Ukraine, including the family estate in Kyiv, a monument to the outstanding student on the territory of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, and the graves of his parents at Baikove Cemetery.
