The Book "Essay on the History of the OUN"
P. Mirchuk's work was first published in 1968 by the Ukrainian Publishing House (Munich-London-New York) and immediately became a basic study of the history of the Ukrainian Military Organization (UMO) and the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) in the period 1920-1939. Despite the fact that the study of the nationalist movement has advanced in absentia since then, the Essay on the History of the OUN has not lost its relevance and remains the most important study on this topic.
The reprint of the third edition is supplemented with the results of modern research, documents, and materials that were not available to the author at the time.
The publication is intended for researchers of the history of Ukraine in the twentieth century, political scientists, political and public figures, students, and anyone interested in the history of the Ukrainian liberation movement.
